Sometimes in quilting, we have a catastrophic situation arise, but in the “real world” it’s a piddly problem. Think of it like a “First World Problem” sort of situation.  Here are some of mine. Feel free to add your own in the comments and I’ll share them in the podcast!
Six shades of beige thread and none of them are right.
Needing 4 yards and only have 3 and 1/2 of anything near the color you want!
Having my machine in the shop - again - after it just came home from 1 year service. I am totally lost and bummed. So mad I blogged all about it. This is definitely a first quilt problem.
Having a “crafting emergency” - during the holidays, I decided I just *had* to make some vinyl-covered quilted coasters for gifts for a lunch I was going to - in three days. No local shop had the required iron-on vinyl. This prompted signing up for the $79/year Amazon Prime so I could get my vinyl in time to make the coasters. Definitely a Quilt World problem!
You have a quilting emergency when your last frixion pen runs out of ink and you have to order three pens and six refills on Amazon.
