This week I did some panicky sewing to make a skirt to wear at Sew Pro (which I forgot to take a picture of, of course), but I also ended up purchasing fabric at the AQS show in Chattanooga. And a HandiQuilter Sweet 16.
Let me just say that the bundle of 12 FQs was a little cheaper than the sewing machine, but I’m sure I’ll get pleasure out of both! It’s getting shipped out tomorrow, so I should have it in within the week.
You’ll learn a little more about the 12 FQs on an upcoming episode of The Stitch, which we’ll be filming on Saturday live at the Chattahoochee Evening Stars quilt show! We’re doing an “Ask Us Anything” episode again for one of the two we’re filming, so leave a comment here if you’ve got a burning question and Lynn & I.
I’ll be writing more about Sew Pro over on The Stitch TV Show site.

Good for you on getting a midarm! I will await your evaluation of this type machine.
Why did you choose the HQ 16 over other midarms?
Wow!! A Handyquilter! Good for you. I can’t wait to hear about it, if I can ever catch up. #podcastdeliquent
Congratulations on your new machine! I look forward to hearing how you get along, as you share honest opinions.
How exciting!!! Congrats!!! Can’t wait to listen along as you learn how to use it! I have a Q’nique mid-arm ordered that should be here any day now!!
Just getting caught up! Handiquilter usually has Corp running the shows which is why the local dealer can get the sale. A lot of the others are run by individual shops and you run into what you ran into with the Alabama dealer. A thing to note is that most local dealers will match show prices. That way you support your local dealer and get great local support.
