While listening to last week’s podcast I thought of what you could do with the three pots quilt:
Add a cat. Add catnip (which we call kitty pot). Put it in a good mews auction with a clever name and voila! It has a home!
I have been going through your site and you flicker stream lately, I have to say, I’m very impressed! Your work is stunning! Your quilts are amazing and beautiful and perfect! Everything you make is wonderful!
hey there. I am glad my comment is still causing you amusement. I was sorry to hear initially that I had caused you some alarm by it. It is something that a girl I went to school with said after I had posted some of my quilts on facebook.
Wow! Sorry you have been bombarded with cranky comments. I’ve been listening for about 6 months, and really enjoy your take on life. BTW…I have two boys with IEP’s, and the youngest qualified for GATE (Gifted and talented is what they call it in California) in second grade. So….at the IEP meeting I fixed the three classroom teachers with my steely gaze and asked them what the upside of putting him in the GATE program was. All three of them confessed that they had elected to keep their kids out of the program because all it meant was more homework! Hope it means something different where you are. We have enough trouble rounding the bases without adding more obstacles.
You should be so proud that the classroom teacher sees your daughter as delightful.
