Quite a productive week this week, given I was dragging my feet on making a beanbag and didn’t sew for a couple days. I finished the two other disappearing nine patch samples, which will be donated to charity. The beanbag itself is finished, but I ran out of stuffing, so no pictures yet since it looks rather deflated still. And finally, my daughter wanted to make a small quilt so she picked out some squares from the stash and sewed them together on the Big Machine (aka, mine).
While you’re here, have you entered to win the Scrapideux quilt?

My MIL used packing peanuts (the Styrofoam kind) to refill her beanbag chair.
I never have much luck with beanbags. Never tried to make one but filling them… I get those beans everywhere. Even when I keep them pretty contained I sill manage to get a few everywhere
Do you have a link for the beanbag tutorial?
Awesome that your daughter is quilting. My 12 year old son pestered me all week to let him sew his merit badges on his sash so he got to learn how to set up and use the sewing machine. I hope that trend continues as sewing scout badges is not my favorite.
