Back to the solo act this week! I talk about doing the 5k race last Saturday, longarming, Silver Star, Christmas Star Surround, the giveaway for A Month of Sundays (warning: I accidentally dropped the h-word in there - whoops), and make vague references to test patterns.
- EarBudi, to turn your regular Apple earbuds into over-the-ear dealies so they don’t fall out.
- The Changeling, Philippa Gregory
- The Bone Season, Samantha Shannon

I also got little teary eyed when you mentioned how lucky you are to marry the right man. It’s nice to hear in this cruel world of divorces. Their cheering was maybe just the push you needed get over your mental issue, and I don’t mean it the bad way. But you know what they say: it’s all in your mind. I’m glad you finished the 5K, running or not.
On another note I am an outside runner and had to stop a year ago because of hip pain. I tried the treadmill, but find it very boring, at least for me.
I can’t wit to see the finished pictures of your Easy Street Redux!
Thank you for another great podcast!
OMG Allison!!!! Terrific. I thought she had gone into total podfade.
We can all not wait to here updates on the kids, home and hubby.
Thanks for the great podcast as usual. I loved the one last week with Allison. You had me laughing hysterically this week about you beating the weiner dog! You go girl.
Karen
Congrats! You should be proud. I cried my first 5k also,I was soo slow and in my 40′s at the time but I felt like I won the lottery. Glad you beat that dog! Love the podcasts,I look forward to my commute home from NYC to nj on Friday,s just to listen. Your quilts are always beautiful too.
I teared up too! Your hubby is the best. Congratulations on finishing the run. I did a 5 mile “run” once, and came in dead last. I walked the last mile or so with a 9 year old boy. I was tempted to sprint to the finish, just to say I had beat someone, but decided to be nice and let him finish ahead of me.
By the way, I don’t know if it’s just me, but on bloglovin, on your blog, it says “At the moment, we are unable to retrieve posts from this blog” - and it has said that for quite awhile.
Oh, Pam! I felt your FEELS! I enjoy your podcasts and appreciate you taking the time to share your world with us!
